Project Cultivate
Our Mission
Project Cultivate is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 2020 by Dr. Robyn S. Joppy to empower girls through education, integrity, and economic development.
Rooted in the belief that empowerment begins with intentional cultivation, the organization creates transformative experiences that strengthen confidence, leadership, and self-worth in girls, particularly those from underserved and disenfranchised communities.
Through mentorship, education, and exposure, Project Cultivate equips girls with the tools to discover their voices, realize their potential, and lead with purpose and excellence.
Our Vision
At Project Cultivate, we believe empowerment begins with intentional cultivation. The word cultivate means to nurture, develop, and prepare for growth. This belief anchors our work and inspires our commitment to helping girls recognize their value, develop their talents, and grow into confident leaders prepared for the future.
Our History
Project Cultivate was founded in 2020 by Dr. Robyn S. Joppy with a clear vision: to empower girls through education, integrity, and economic development while creating meaningful, lasting change in the communities they live in. Born out of firsthand experience in leadership, compliance, and community advocacy, Project Cultivate was established to intentionally cultivate confidence, purpose, and opportunity—especially for girls from underserved and disenfranchised backgrounds.
Since its founding, Project Cultivate has remained deeply community-focused, delivering programs that meet youth where they are and, address both personal development and real-world barriers to success. What began as a local initiative has steadily grown through strong partnerships, trusted relationships, and a commitment to excellence. Today, Project Cultivate’s impact extends beyond the local community to reach girls and young women across the United States, African Diaspora, and the Caribbean providing education, mentorship, health resources, and transformative experiences that promote dignity, leadership, and self-worth.
