Saddle Up Harrisburg is an equestrian camp created by Project Cultivate to provide underserved and disenfranchised youth with a meaningful, confidence-building experience in an industry where minority representation has historically been limited. Through hands-on interaction with horses, participants develop discipline, emotional awareness, trust, and leadership skills in a safe, supportive environment. The program is designed to expose youth to new experiences while helping them build self-esteem, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

In addition to riding instruction, campers engage with professionals across the equine industry, including trainers, veterinarians, farriers, and riders, offering insight into potential career pathways and expanded opportunities. By removing financial and access barriers, Saddle Up Harrisburg creates an experience that is both transformative and empowering—reinforcing the belief that representation matters and that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, lead, and thrive.
